We’re proud (and still smiling) to share that Blue Ridge Diner has been named the 2025 Restaurant Rumble CHOMPION—and we couldn’t have done it without you.
After starting with 64 amazing local restaurants, thousands of votes came in over several rounds, and thanks to your support, we chomped our way to the top. To everyone who voted, visited, or cheered us on—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Floyd is our Home

Our story begins, like many good ones do, in a small town with big heart. After over 20 years of running Joe’s Diner in Blacksburg, Travis Crawford came home to Floyd with a dream: to open a place where locals could gather over good food, hot coffee, and conversation that feels like family.
Together with Kristin and their daughter Dayson, we built Blue Ridge Diner as a true family-run spot. We’ve poured everything we have into making this place warm, welcoming, and full of flavor—and your support in this competition reminded us why we do what we do.
This title isn’t just for us. It’s for Floyd.
A Golden Moment

The WDBJ7 crew showed up on a regular (but packed) morning to surprise us with the trophy—though it wasn’t a traditional one. Since you can’t exactly find a “golden plate” lying around, they brought the next best thing: a custom golden frying pan, perfect for a diner like ours.
We also want to give a huge shout-out to our friend Lacy at Dynasty Branding, who generously donated a beautiful banner now hanging in the diner. It’s a small way to say a big thank you to the community that made this happen.
This One’s for You

To our customers, neighbors, friends, and fellow small businesses—this win is yours, too. Every vote, every kind word, every breakfast order helped get us here.
We’re proud to be your 2025 Restaurant Rumble CHOMPION, and even prouder to call Floyd home.
Come see us soon,
– The Crawford Family & the Blue Ridge Diner Team
